Edsurge’s Tech for Schools Summit on June 16th at American Canyon High School was a convening to reimagine the role of technology in teaching and learning and build relationships with individuals across the US who are digging deep in their classrooms.  CraftED was invited to attend this event as one of 14 companies that provides tools for Project Based Learning. IMG_1988CraftED is dedicated to deeper learning, which aligns beautifully with PBL.  Skills such as collaboration, communication, research, critical and creative thinking are fundamental skills for PBL and CraftED has developed concrete strategies to scaffold those exact skills. Speaking of projects…Be sure to check out our latest project released this month, in which CraftED teamed up with a science teacher from High Tech High.  Demystifying Sharks is designed  Screen Shot 2016-06-13 at 3.45.46 PMfor a 9th/10th grade NGSS Science 1 class. This project is fully integrated across physics, engineering, math, ELA, and VAPA; amongst many 21st century skills.
