Writing Tutor in Cardiff by the Sea 

Who: Students of all skill levels in grades 5-12

What: 1:1 Tutoring in writing skills.

• Homeschool students looking for enhancement or support with existing assignments
• Students seeking “summer bridge support”
• Students in need of help with specific literacy skills and/or who need support with ELA classroom assignments.
• High school students seeking guidance an feedback with college admission essays or AP language preparation.

The Process:

Step 1. Brief phone consultation

Step 2. Scheduling

Step 3. In person meeting for informal evaluation and mini-lesson

Step 4. Virtual asynchronous support via Google Docs

Step 5. Virtual synchronous support via Zoom

Repeat steps 3-5 or 4-5

The cost:

$75/Hr when working with a student, $50/hr billable for preparation, resource curation, asynchronous feedback.

Clients are billed via email invoices once a week for services rendered. Secure payment can be made directly through QuickBooks invoice by using a credit card.
