Holocaust Summer Book Club

Description:

This writing workshop will support middle school students with ongoing reading and writing support throughout the summer months. Students will have the option to chose from one of several high-interest books on the topic of the Holocaust and be provided assignments and mini-lessons related to their book of choice. Students will learn important reading and writing techniques and have the opportunity to engage in field-work by visiting the Museum of Tolerance to collect data and research the historical context of their novel.
