Last week Jen Stillittano of Central Coast New Tech shared a sample project email for CraftED friends to use as a template. This week she shares another! Thanks for the tips and inspiration Jen!

Hello Students, Parents, Guardians & Friends of CCNTH!

It is with excitement that I write the second Entrepreneurial Mindsets/DireLights correspondence of the year!  You are receiving this email because you are connected with Central Coast New Tech High School in some way and/or you were recommended to me as an inspirational entrepreneur on the Central Coast. If you would prefer I take you off of my email list please reply back and let me know.  If you have someone in mind that might be interested please forward this email to them and/or reply back with their contact info.

Thank yous!

Thank you to all of the volunteers who sat on our panel presentations for the Entrepreneurial Mindsets Gallery last month. Your feedback provided valuable next steps to all of our students for how to continue growing as professional communicators.

Student Highlights!

Special recognitions go to:

  • Lauren J, Allie C, Zoe C, Sarah H, and Kailey Z for answering the question what makes someone an entrepreneur in such a creative and knowledgeable way!

    • They all did an advanced job on their first presentations and proved their ability to critically think and communicate their findings in an engaging and unique way.

Projects! DireLights ~ Let Some Light In!

We just rolled out our second project of the year, DireLights ~ Let Some Light In!  To learn more about what we will be exploring this month, read the Project Guidelines.  Students will be answering the driving question, What makes a business work? Students will be taking on the job responsibilities of the position they were hired for as well as driving their own learning by choosing their own goals and tasks to keep the business running smoothly. They will be presenting their learning at various CCNTH event nights and field trips.  To sign up to be a guest speaker, provide small group interviews, and/or offer your feedback in any other way please, CLICK HERE to sign up for a day and time to visit and work with us.  To read about this authentic project and hear testimonials from last years students, CLICK HERE.
