Description

This 11 page lesson covers a total of approximately 3 hours of class time and can be used in any class where inquiry plays a role. This lesson is divided into 4 phases to help students analyze and identify effective questions, and ultimately craft their own. 2 Check for Understanding prompts are included, in addition to a teacher resource filled with sample questions for a gallery walk, a student handout to analyze and rank existing questions, and a handout for students to complete on rewriting high quality questions.  Note: student handouts are ready for reproductive/to give students.
